How we write, review, and update medical content

Patients who consider medical tourism are making a serious decision. We treat the words on this site the same way our clinical partners treat the operating room: with deliberate process, transparent sourcing, and an audit trail. This page is the public version of our internal editorial standards.

1. What this site is and isn't

Allure RT MX is a concierge medical tourism agency. We coordinate care between US and Canadian patients and our partner specialists in Tijuana, Mexico. Our website's role is to help you understand:

Nothing on this site is a substitute for a licensed clinician's opinion about your health. Every patient receives a personalized written estimate and a video or in-person consultation before any procedure is scheduled. The site is the brochure; the consultation is the diagnosis.

2. Where our facts come from

We separate three categories of claim and source each differently:

Public market data (price ranges, recovery windows, eligibility norms)

Cited from independent medical-tourism directories and clinical references such as medicaltourismco.com, placidway.com, bookimed.com, and procedure-specific resources from board organizations and academic centers (American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Mayo Clinic, ASMBS, ISHRS, ISSCR). Where we name a number on a procedure page, the source category is named in the same paragraph.

Allure-specific facts (what we offer, who we work with, how a trip is structured)

Drawn from internal coordinator records and verified case history. Anything that depends on a specific patient's situation is presented as a range or a process, not a guarantee.

Specialist credentials (board memberships, training, hospital privileges)

Verified at intake by our coordination team. Where a specialist's credentials are referenced on this site, that reference reflects current verification at the time of last review (see the per-page stamp). If a credential changes between reviews and you need an up-to-date answer, please ask during your consultation.

4. What we will not do

5. AI-generated content

We use AI tools as a research and drafting assistant. Every patient-facing paragraph is reviewed by a human on the Allure RT MX team before it is published. Direct quotes, prices, and clinical claims are sourced and verified by a human. AI-only output is never published unedited.

6. Editorial independence and conflicts of interest

Allure RT MX is paid by patients (concierge coordination, transport, accommodation arrangements) and through standard medical-tourism agency arrangements with our partner clinics. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. We do not let any partner pay to be reviewed favorably. If a recommendation involves a partner from whom we earn a coordination fee, that is part of the concierge model and is not concealed in the body copy.

7. How to flag a correction

If you believe any fact on this site is wrong, out of date, or unsourced, please email us at [email protected] with the URL and the specific sentence. We respond to correction requests within five business days, log every correction, and update the page's "Last reviewed" stamp.

One last thing. A great medical tourism experience starts with a transparent provider, not a glossy one. If anything on this site reads as too good to be true, please ask us about it during your consultation. We would rather lose a booking than oversell a procedure.
