Dr. Sánchez earned his medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, completed his general-surgery residency at the historic Hospital Civil de Guadalajara “Fray Antonio Alcalde,” and trained in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the Guerrerosantos Institute, one of Mexico's best-known plastic-surgery schools. He then completed an advanced fellowship devoted entirely to body contouring. He is board-certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery and an active member of the Mexican Association of Plastic Surgery (AMCPER).
